We had a great time in Borneo and especially our stay at Mataking was really pleasant, didn’t want to leave! I will keep in my good memories that beautiful place, the warm attitude of the staff, the great food and the smiles everyone has gifted to me and my family.

About your company I must say Borneo Dream Travel & Tours has provided me with an outstanding service. I travel a lot (mainly for working reason) but also for leisure and to be honest I have been impressed by your immediate reply and professional attitude. In particular, I appreciated the fact that if my contact person in Borneo Dream Travel & Tour was not available, you have been working in team so as to pass my relevant information to another team member who was doing follow up on behalf of someone else, seamlessly! I know during peak season this is not so common! Apart from having been able to ensure bookings for my stay at Mataking and Sipadan (which means already a lot in August!), you have also provided me with a quick follow up on my emails and when you work you know how important it is! I really appreciated a lot, since I have been organizing my summer break in my little spare time between one meeting and the other so your quick actions were enabling me to move forward and to settle the rest of my holiday at the best.

    Joanne & Borneo Dream Team,

We had an absolutely unbelievable time on Mataking. The accommodation was first class and the service exceptional. Yes, all the diving practise around KK paid off as we were nearly experts by the time we got to Sipadan.

Thank you for all your help in organising such a perfect holiday. We have already recommended you to a number of other travellers and we also hope to see you again in Sabah.

    Cheers
    Dean Howard

  3. Kristin

The resort is ok not 5 star but everything you need for a diving holiday and Jeny and her team at the dive center are absolutely amazing. Its so well run and they make you feel very comfortable and safe under water. I was lucky enough to dive at Sipadan for two days but the dive sites around the resort are also very high standards.

  4. Celia Neilson

    Hi Joanne,

Thanks so much for your help organising our trip. We LOVED our stay at Mataking and wished it had been longer. Borneo Dream were also excellent in helping us choose where to stay and responding very quickly to all my emails. We loved the resort and everyone was very friendly. The only feedback I would have is for the resort: providing two towels for each person – one for the beach and one for the bathroom. This would actually help reduce laundry, as is their goal, as they wouldn’t be washing towels so often if they’re not sandy. Loved our stay so much though!

    Thanks a lot,

    Celia
