Get back in the water with A PADI Reactivate in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
Whether you use to drive a car or it has been sometime since you last scuba dived. Everyone should consider refreshing or getting back in the seat. With the PADI ReActivate Refresher Program this is a very easy and well structured program to do just that. With 2 to 3 hours on pre-study via PADI’s amazing online eLearning system 60466-1. Then a full day in the water with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu getting you back in the saddle with some sinple skills and some lovely diving.
As an alternative to the PADI ReActivate Program, you could check out the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy Course if you wish to focus on improving your diving buoyancy. After your PADI ReActivate Refresher Program, you could join our diving trip to Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park, so you get to go fun diving with your newly refreshed diving skills.
PADI Course Itinerary – PADI ReActivate Program
Prior to the program you would have needed to fully completed the online eLearning that acompanies this program. Shortly after purchasing or making a booking we would have sent you out a uniquie PADI eCode. The online learning will take approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete.
You will meet our Dive crew at 08:45 at Jesselton Point Jetty in central Kota Kinabalu for a 09:00 departure. Please refer to your Booking Email for your meeting location arrangements. Please beware that our boats will depart on time, and should you miss your collection, you will need to contact our office on +60178118149 immediately.
There will be a skills session in the morning, a knowledge review session during your lunch break, and one-course dive after lunch. You will be dropped back at Jesselton Point Jetty in central Kota Kinabalu around 15:30/16:00.
PADI Course Pre-Requisites
- You need to be ten years or older.
- You must be a certified diver (PADI Scuba Diver or above) and provide proof of diver certification at the start of the Program (via a diver certification card)
- You should also be in good overall general health to dive. You will be asked to self-certify you are healthy to dive before starting the course.
What’s included in your PADI ReActivate Program?
- PADI ReActivate eCode for your pre-study 60466-1. Needs to be completed before attending the program
- Confined skill session and open water course dive
- Free use of our rental dive gear (mask, snorkel, full foot fins, BCD, 3mm shorty tropical wetsuit, regulator and gauges)
- Lunch (choose from a choice of local dishes)
- Small groups with a low Instructor to Student ratio, often lower than 1:4
- Free flow water on our boats
- Instruction in English, Malay or Chinese
- Boat transfers from Jesselton Point Jetty in central Kota Kinabalu (and Jesselton Point jetty fee)
- Sabah Parks Conservation Fees and Permits

Notes
PADI Liability Forms and a PADI Medical Form must be signed by the participant before the PADI Course starts. You need to have minimum 18 hours free after diving before flying on a plane or changing altitude > 300 metres, in line with PADI safety standards.
Any participant under 18 years is supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
