Learning made Easier with the PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver Course, Kota Kinabalu
The PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Kota Kinabalu involves 2 days of ‘wet activities’ and some pre-study. How you choose to do your pre-study is up to you. But, failure to complete the study at the correct points may result in your certification being withheld. We strongly suggest you complete the pre-study the day before your course is due to start. This can be done by either us sending you the manual in advance for a small postal charge or you pop by our office and collect in advance – please let us know beforehand.
Typical Itinerary of the PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver in Kota Kinabalu
As with all PADI Courses, there is some pre-study. However, with PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Course you complete all your study online before you come on holiday. Prior to the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course starting, maybe at least 2 to 3 weeks prior, you would register with PADI for eLearning (use the link above). Then discussing which dives you are going to complete with Borneo Dream you would then set about doing your online study – remember two of them are Deep Diver and Underwater Navigation Diver. Because the study for your PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water is online the pace you study at, or even where you study, is up to you. But leave plenty of time to complete it prior to your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course starting.
You will meet our Dive crew at 8:45 am at Jesselton Point Jetty in central Kota Kinabalu for each day of your PADI course. Please refer to your Booking Email for your meeting location arrangements. Please beware our boats will depart on time and should miss your collection you will need to contact our office on +60178118149 immediately.
Today you will complete two of your five PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver Course dives in our local marine park, with lunch on a tropical island. Depending upon your understanding of the academic side of things more reviews and learning may take place over lunch.
Today will be a bit more exciting as you will complete two dives before lunch and one after. Once again lunch will be on a tropical island.
Note – Please be beware that your instructor will require proof from the PADI eLearning system that all on-line modules have been completed prior to your last dive. Failure to do so may result in your qualification being withheld. Refer to your instructor for further clarification.

Pre-Requisites for the PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver Course
This course is open to all those with a PADI Open Water Diver Certification (12 years or older) or similar. You will need to certify you are in good health to go scuba diving. You need to have completed your pre-study via PADI eLearning in advance of your course.

Notes – PADI eLearning Advanced Open Water Diver Course
The course price is based upon choosing Borneo Dream S-36409 as your PADI Dive Centre when registering for PADI eLearning.
PADI Liability Forms and a PADI Medical Form must be signed by the participant before the PADI Course starts. You need to have minimum of 18 hours free after diving before flying on a plane, or changing altitude > 300 metres, in line with PADI safety standards.
