When most certified divers plan a dive they don't typically follow the 'square profile' used by the PADI Recreational Dive Planner. You normally plan a dive with multiple levels - starting deeper first, getting shallower during the dive and finishing with a safety stop. The PADI Multi Level Diver Speciality Course teaches you how to plan a safe multi level dive, and the difference using a dive computer can make to the length of your dive.

The PADI Multi Level Diver Speciality Course, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah with Borneo Dream teachers divers how to safely plan and dive a multi-level dive. With multi level diving, especially when using a dive computer, divers will quickly realise they can dive for longer when compared to planning your dives with the PADI Recreational Dive Planner. The PADI Multi Lever Diver Soeciality Course the will familiarize divers with the theory, skills, knowledge, planning, organisation, procedures, hazards, benefits and enjoyment of multilevel diving with 'The Wheel' and/or with modern dive computers.

The goals of the PADI Multilevel Diver course are:-

  • To develop the student’s knowledge of the theories behind dive tables, dive computers and multilevel diving.
  • To enable the student to plan, organize and make safe multilevel no decompression dives with 'The Wheel' and/or modern dive computers.
  • To ensure the student knows the most state of the art recommendations for flying after diving, omitted decompression and the S.A.F.E. Diver program.
For the PADI Multilevel Diver Speciality course, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah you must be a certified PADI Open Water Diver or have a recognised qualifying certification from another training organization. If any training will be conducted deeper than 18 metres/60 feet, the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or a qualifying certification from another training organization is recommended, with the PADI Deep Diver rating highly recommended for any training deeper than 30 metres/100 feet.

For the PADI Multilevel Diver Speciality course is a one (1) day course and includes two (2) ocean dives. Your course dives will be in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park located near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

If you are wanting to learn to plan multi level dives > 18 metres then it is recommended you are a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver before completing this course. You can also add this course on after completing a PADI Deep Diver Course, when multi level diving really makes an impact on the length of your dive.

PADI Course Itinerary - Peak Multi Level Diver Course

You will meet our Dive crew at 8:45am at Jesselton Point Jetty in central Kota Kinabalu. Please refer to your Booking Email for your meeting location arrangements. Please beware our boats will depart on time and should miss your collection you will need to contact our office on +60178118149 immediately.

Today you will complete the two course dives in our local marine park, with lunch on a tropical island. There will be one course dive in the morning and one course dive after lunch. You will be dropped back at Jesselton Point Jetty in centra Kota Kinabalu around 4pm.

PADI Course Pre-Requisites

The minimum age for the PADI Multi Level Diver Speciality course is 12 years with a certification of at least PADI Open Water Diver or higher.

Be in good health to go scuba diving. If you are on any medication you should consult your doctor before signing up.

Notes - PADI Multi Level Diver Speciality Course in Kota Kinabalu

PADI Liability Forms and a PADI Medical Form must be signed by the participant before the PADI Course starts. You need to have minimum 18 hours free after diving before flying on a plane, or changing altitude > 300 metres, in line with PADI safety standards.

Any participant under 18 years is supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.
