Typical Itinerary for the PADI eLearning Rescue Diver Course in Kota Kinabalu
This involves 2 days of 'wet activities' and some on-line pre-study. The on-line pre-study or eLearning is great way to study, it allows you to learn at your own pace. However, you must allow plenty of time to complete the study before you start your course - other wise final certification may be with held.
Divers need to be PADI Advanced Open Water or similar with 20 logged dives, they also require a valid First Aid Certificate showing both Primary and Secondary Care including CPR. This must have been issued or renewed in the last 2 years. Alternately this course can be combined with a PADI EFR Emergency First Response Course.
Whether you book your PADI eLearning Rescue Diver Course before you complete your pre-study or afterwards it makes no difference in terms of studying. However it is worth knowing that your course dates are secure before you commit to on-line learning with the PADI eLearning Rescue Diver module. As you complete each stage of your learning PADI will send out an email to Borneo Dream stating your level of completion.

Today you will complete and learn most of your PADI Rescue Diver Skills, some will be completed before lunch and the your remainder will be integrated into an afternoon dive along coral reef. Lunch will be on a tropical island. Depending upon your understanding of the academic side of things more reviews and learning may take place over lunch.
Today will be a bit more relaxed compared to yesterday. Both in the morning and afternoon your will complete Rescue Diver Scenarios incorporating the Rescue Skills you have learned.
Pre-requisites - PADI eLearning Rescue Diver Course

The course price is based upon choosing Borneo Dream S-36409 as your PADI Dive Centre when registering for PADI eLearning.
PADI Liability Forms and a PADI Medical Form must be signed by the participant before the PADI Course starts. You need to have minimum 18 hours free after diving before flying on a plane, or changing altitude > 300 metres, in line with PADI safety standards.
