SDI Open Water Scuba Diver Course - Learn to Dive in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
If you want to learn to dive and become a certified scuba diver the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia is for you!
The SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course is a 2 day course designed to give you the necessary diving skills to safely go diving with a buddy anywhere in the world up to 18m.
Some of the many skills you will learn include buoyancy, marine conservation, equipment assembly and proper dive planning. You will also be trained to perform a range of basic scuba diving skills underwater. As part of your course in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah you will also learn to use a dive computer and will be required to have a personal dive computer during all of your dives. You can bring your own dive computer with you or rent one from us.
There are some pre requisites for the SDI Open Water Scuba Diver course:
- You need to be 10 years or older.
- You need to be very comfortable in the water and have good swimming skills.
- You should also be in good overall general health to dive, particularly your respiratory and circulatory system. You will be asked to self-certify before starting a course or entering the water.
- You will need to have completed the required pre-study work.
- And you will need to complete a small amount of paperwork – the SDI forms can be downloaded and completed in advance.
