Seaventures Mabul Dive Resort
Seaventures Dive Resort is located just 1km from the white sand beaches of Mabul and only 20 mins from Sipadan’s world famous dive sites. Seaventures Mabul Resort is located on a converted Oil Platform. It offers comfortable basic rooms, delicious food and non-stop diving. It is an ideal base for Divers wanting to spend as much time diving as possible - and who want a relatively cheaper Resort choice for diving near Sipadan.
Seaventures Mabul has 28 rooms and 2 suites. Each room has air-conditioning, television, lots of power points for recharging your batteries (for your cameras) and an ensuite shower room. Meals are served buffet-style and you can choose to finish your day with a drink and dinner on the sundeck, with its 360 degree view of Mabul and the coastline of Borneo. Other facilities include a karaoke lounge and bar, movie room, games room with pool tables and table tennis and a souvenir shop. Wireless internet access is available on the dive deck whilst a camera room means there is plenty of space for sorting out your underwater housing before each dive.
Seaventures offers unlimited diving beneath the resort. Trips to Sipadan are scheduled every morning, leaving the afternoons free for exploring the reefs and enjoying muck diving at Mabul and Kapalai. Below Seaventure platform, your 'house reef', you will find fantastic muck diving. Home to numerous Giant Frogfish, Pygmy Seahorse, Ghost Pipefish, Nudibranches, Moray Eels, Scorpian Fish and resident shoals of Bat Fish. You'll be waning to dive as much as your dive computer allows you to!
