PADI AWARE Coral Reef
The PADI AWARE Coral Reef Conservation Speciality Course is being offered by Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia to inform both divers and non-divers about the plight of the world's coral reefs. The course describes how coral reefs function and why they are so important. It also reviews why many reefs are in serious trouble and what individuals can do to prevent further decline.

The PADI AWARE Speciality course with Borneo Dream in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is structured as follows and lasts half a day:
- You begin the course by reading Chapter Four of the AWARE – Our World, Our Water manual.
- Watch the 'Protect the Living Reef video'.
- Your learning continues with a knowledge development session guided by colourful, photo-filled lesson guides.
- Once you have completed and reviewed the program’s Knowledge Review, you will earn the AWARE – Coral Reef Conservation Speciality certification.
