The PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream is a great way to enjoy a try dive in the tropical waters of Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park near Kota Kinabalu and is ideal choice if you want to see if you like scuba diving before booking the full PADI Open Water Diver course. During your PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience with Borneo Dream you'll enjoy the following:
- A short scuba diving education session.
- A confined scuba diving session which helps you to master the 6 key diving skills required to give you confidence and safety when diving. You will then enjoy a short dive in shallow waters to practice your buoyancy skills - your first dive of the day along a coral reef with lots of marine life to see, including Nemo!
- After a relaxing lunch on an island we will take you for a second dive along a pretty coral reef in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park. This dive will be to a maximum of 12 metres.
If you really enjoy your PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience and want to learn to dive then we have good news for you! Your PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience (DSD) can be accredited as part of the PADI Scuba Diver Course or PADI Open Water Diver Course. The pre-requisites for the PADI Discover Scuba Diving Experience are as follows:
- You need to be 10 years of age or older.
- You should be comfortable in water (too deep to stand up in) and able to swim to participate in a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience.
- You should be in good overall health, particularly your respiratory and circulatory system. You will be asked to self-certify before starting a course or entering the water.
