Wreck & Mayne Rock (2 Dives) Trip Itinerary

Please find below an outline of the typical itinerary for a Borneo Dream diving day trip to the Usukan WW2 wrecks, near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

  • 8:00am :- Meet a member of the Dream Team at the entrance to Jesselton Point (under the archway). After being escorted to our RIB the boat departs from Jesselton Point to Usukan Bay
  • 9:30am :- Arrive at Usukan Bay and for wreck diving site, shot line dropped and secured. Dive briefing, get dive gear on and perform buddy checks
  • 10:00am :- Dive 1 starts!
  • 11:00am - 12:30pm :- Surface interval on our RIB. Time to chill out and enjoy some refreshments. The RIB moves over to our second dive site of the day - Mayne Rock
  • 12:30pm - 1:00pm - Dive briefing for dive at Mayne Rock. The shot line is dropped, divers get ready for the dive and perform buddy checks
  • 1:00pm :- Dive 2 starts!
  • 2:00pm :- Depart for Jesselton Point
  • 3:00pm :- Arrive back at Jesselton Point Jetty

Estimated return time is 3:00pm.
