Gaya Wreck Diving Day Trip - Itinerary

Please find below an outline of a typical itinerary for a diving day trip to the Gaya Wreck with Borneo Dream from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

  • 9:00am :- Meet a member of the Dream Team at the entrance to Jesselton Point (under the archway). Our team member will escort you to our boat. The boat departs from Jesselton Point, boat transfer to the Gaya Wreck.
  • 10:00am :- Arrive at the Gaya Wreck, shot line dropped and secured. Dive briefing, get dive gear on and perform buddy checks.
  • 10:30am :- Dive 1 starts!
  • 12:00am - 2:00pm :- Surface interval on Borneo Dream 3 or a nearby Island (depending on sea conditions). Time to chill out, have lunch and sunbathe on the sun deck
  • 2:00pm :- Dive 2 starts
  • 3:15pm :- Depart for Jesselton Point
  • 4:00pm :- Arrive at Jesselton Point Jetty

Estimated return time is 4:00pm.
