Introduction - Diver Safety

Diving is fun, but it’s only fun whilst it’s safe. Safe diving comes down to diving with a Dive Operator who sets, maintains and applies rigorous safety standards in all areas. Every dive, every day. You then just need to focus on enjoying your dive!

It’s worth taking the time to check safety precautions thoroughly when choosing a Dive Centre and make a point of asking for evidence. Good dive centres will welcome your questions and be more than willing to back up their answers with proof of certification, procedure or physical equipment.

Diver Safety at Borneo Dream

At Borneo Dream we make diver safety our first priority. We will not, under any circumstances, compromise the safety of any diver, either customer or staff.

We have listed our recommended safety precautions and our chosen safety practices in this section. The items in brackets (MS) show the minimum standard(s) recommended by the appropriate professional industry body. In many cases, we have positively chosen to exceed these standards, for the benefit of our customers safety.
