April 2008 - Diving with rebreathers in SabahBorneo Dream provides divers with a unique offering in Sabah, Borneo - we are able to rent out rebreathers to qualified divers who dive with Borneo Dream. This week a diver friend rented one of our rebreathers while he dived with us around TARP Marine Park, Pulau Tiga and Dinawan. His underwater photographs were amazing as the fish life surrounded him, no longer scared away by noisy bubbles.
Not qualified to use rebreathers and fancy a go? Billy, our Watersports Director, is a TDI APD Inspiration/Evolution eCCR Air Diluent Rebreather Instructor (#10407) and can teach you to use a rebreather. Just send us an email if you want to know more . . . . Contact us.
During Daniel Knappert's (The man on the ADP Evolution Rebreather) stay with us we visited several dive sites within Tunka Rahman Abdul Marine Park (TARP) just off Kota Kinabalu and we also visited Pulau Tiga, which is very rarely visited and is less than two hours away by boat - A great days diving and adventure.
