April 2008 - New Dive Boat arrives for the Borneo Dream Team

We have just taken delivery of a New purpose built Dive Boat called Borneo Dream 3. It was built and designed by Godfrey Yin of Freycraft Marine Industries Sdn Bhd, based just outside Kota Kinabalu at Inanam.

 

Borneo Dream 3 Arrives! - Our new catamaran, Borneo Dream 3, arrived at the end of March 2008. She is good sized diving and snorkeling boat (at 10m x 4m) and can take 16 passengers on board. There are plenty of facilities on board including a freshwater shower, a cabin with a double bed, toilet facilities, a 2 seater canoe and plenty of space for dive gear - all creating a comfortable and enjoyable environment for our customers. We have been out on her most days so far this month and she delivers as smooth, enjoyable and fast a ride as we had hoped!

  • Licensed for 12 divers and 4 crew - License number JN4977P
  • 2x  Suzuki 4 Stroke low emission outboard engines
  • 2x  200 Litre inboard Unleaded fuel tanks plus 50 litre additional reserve tanks.
  • 1x  200 litre filtered fresh water tank
  • Rear fresh water shower
  • Cabin lights
  • 1x  Double berth cabin
  • 1x  Toilet including Black-Water tank
  • 10" VGA GPS Plotter Depth Sounder
  • VHF Radio
  • 16x  Life Jackets/Personal floatation devices
  • 2x  Life Rings/Floats
  • DAN Diver Emergency Oxygen Kit with 1000 Litres of Medical Oxygen onboard
  • Comprehensive First Aid Kit
  • All crew members are First Aid Trained
  • All Skippers are RYA Certified and have Commercial Endorsements from the MCA for 12m long vessels up to 200 Tonnes with 12 paying guests 20 Nautical Miles offshore/safe haven.
  • Boat is fully insured and all crew have personal liability insurance.
  • Sabah Parks Landing Permit
