Then why not consider a Private Boat Charter for a day around the islands in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park during your holiday in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Malaysia. At Borneo Dream we can offer you a choice of 12m x 4m wide Motor Catamaran (Borneo Dream 3) or a 9m x 3m wide RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat). Both boats are fitted with GPS, Compass, Chartplotter, VHF Radio, Fire Extinguishers, First Aid and Medical Oxygen. The boats are fully insured both for Capital Replacement and Public Liability plus operated by highly trained and licensed staff.
The boats offer differences to the renter - the Motor Catamaran offers space and comfort with the added advantage of a toilet compartment, cabin, on board refreshments, fresh water shower and sun deck. On the other hand the RIB offers fun, enjoyment and speed :-). The Motor Catamaran is ideally suited to a family with small children and for those wishing completely relaxation on a spacious vessel whereas the RIB is just an absolute blast of fun!

We can offer snorkelling, scuba diving or island hoping on both boats. By giving us plenty of notice of your chosen activity (minimum 48 hours notice) we can help tailor your day making it the best possible experience for you.
Numbers - as we wish to offer a high quality and valued service the group sizes we can offer is up to 12 persons on the Catamaran (depending upon the activity you have chosen in advance) and on the RIB we can offer up to 8 persons (depending upon the activity chosen).
The prices for our private charters below are based upon snorkelling, scuba diving and island hoping, or any combination of, within the local marine park otherwise known as Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. With collection from Jesselton Point Jetty (in central Kota Kinabalu) at 9:00am returning at approximately 3:30pm depending upon activity/s chosen. We include lunch on an island with light refreshments on both boats but more variety on the Motor Catamaran. Fresh towels are also provided.
Motor Catamaran (12m x 4m) - 9:00am till ~3:30pm Charter
- Up to 6 Persons RM2200.00
- 7 to 12 Persons RM3000.00
RIB (9m x 3m) - 9:00am till ~3:30pm Charter
- Up to 4 Persons RM 1800.00
- 5 to 8 Persons RM 2500.00
Please note if scuba diving is chosen as an activity then maximum 6 persons can take part in this activity as part of the above private charter price. Sabah Parks Diving Permits are payable on the day by those choosing scuba diving. RM 60 for non Malaysian and RM 30 for Malaysian.
Please be aware that all persons taking part in either snorkelling and scuba diving must be comfortable in water to deep to stand up in and be able to swim.
