The rapids at Padas Gorge have amusing names - Merry-Go-Round Rapid, Break Point Rapid, Scooby Doo Rapid, Cobra Rapid, Curve Rapid, Lambada Rapid and Head Hunter Rapid - with the name you a clue of what to expect.
The 10km Padas Gorge white water rafting journey takes about 2 fun filled hours.

The day starts with a pick-up from your hotel at about 7.00 in the Kota Kinabalu area (earlier if you are staying north of KK) with a 3-4 hour journey down to Pangi - your start point for the trip. The Padas River is situated in the interior of southwestern part of Kota Kinabalu that is only accessible by train (used since the late 19th century in Borneo). So you'll enjoy both a coach ride and a train ride to reach Padas Gorge, Sabah, Borneo.
Upon arriving at the starting point for your Padas Gorge white water rafting experience, participants will be given safety briefing before going down the river. After completing the white water rafting experience you will enjoy a BBQ lunch.
Departure back to your hotel will be about 15.30pm and you will reach your hotel in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo by about 18.30pm.
Bring with you lace-up shoes or sandals (no flip flops), towel, swimming costume, dry clothes and waterproof sun-block to get the most from this tour. A good level of fitness is required to go white water rafting at Padas Gorge, near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, Borneo.
Only children over 12 years are allowed (please note that the white water rafting company have the right to refuse any person). Please note - min 2 persons per booking.
