Pulau Gaya Diving Day Trip near Kota Kinabalu - Malaysian Borneo Tour Description Enjoy a days cruising and diving around the largest island in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Park (TARP) – Pulau Gaya. There are many beautiful coral reef dives along the North and West of the Island – these are shown on the map below. The dives range in depths from 5m to 22m and are generally suitable for both beginners and the more experienced leisure divers. The West side of the Island is one long, continual beautiful coral reef. So long there are several different dive sites to choose from. Spot Nudibranches, Yellow Snapper, Lion Fish, Parrot Fish, small shoals of Razor Fish, Puffer fish, juvenile Bat Fish, Scorpion Fish and more. Along the North coast dive the more locally well known sites, Police Bay and nearby reefs. Your day trip package includes three dives, hotel pick-ups, return boat transfer, picnic style lunch, use of cylinders and weights, TARP Marine Park conservation fee and Jesselton Point Landing / Departure tax. It's important to us to ensure your safety at all times – that way you can focus on enjoying yourself! We have a range of safety equipment on board our boat and apply the highest safety standards to ensure your diving day trip is incident free. Start & End of Journey The Borneo Dream team will pick up from your hotel at 09:00. Return by 16:00. Getting There A bus / car ride will take you to and from your hotel to the jetty. It is then a 10 -15 minute boat transfer to Pulau Gaya. Requirements Please bring with you a water bottle, swim wear, towel and sun block to get the most from this tour. As with all diving activities there is a certain amount of necessary paperwork to complete. However, you can choose to complete these before you come on your Borneo Dream holiday.
