PADI Seal Team with Borneo Dream Kids Team - Malaysian Borneo Tour Description As with the PADI Bubblemaker the PADI Seal Team programme is designed for children from the age of 8 years. Once again a Risk and Medical Statement must be signed by the Parent or Guardian. The course is split into Aquamissions, to become a PADI Seal Team Member you must first completed five (5) Aquamissions. Then once these have been successfully completed you can move on and complete the next ten (10) Aquamissions which allows you to apply to be a PADI Master Seal Team Member. Both the PADI Seal Team and the Master Seal Team Member receive a qualification card from PADI complete with a photo of the member. If the child is over 10 years of age the card can be presented to one of the thousands of PADI Dive Centres around the world, where the child can then be accompanied by an Instructor and taken on a shallow ocean dive – Cool. This programme can also be accredited towards a PADI Junior Open Water Diver qualification. Each Aquamission takes about 2 hours, more than one Aquamission can be completed in any one visit. It is quite common for Dive Centres such as Borneo Dream to do PADI Seal Team Camps, for example in the school holidays. Where we can run Aquamissions 1 to 5 or 6 through to 16 together over two days or a week. All our Dive Professionals are insured and are in 'Active Teaching Status' with PADI. You can verify this by asking for their qualification card - only those in 'Active teaching Status" holding a qualification of PADI Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor or higher may teach you.
