6D5N West Coast Diving Safari and Hotel Package (based in Kota Kinabalu) Dive Safari Description Come to Sabah for a diving safari in a tropical paradise. During your 6 days 5 nights stay we will organise four full days diving (11 dives) on the Borneo Dream 3 catamaran along the west coast of Sabah. This longer safari includes a wide variety of diving including coral reefs, drift dives, deep dives and wreck diving. We visit three very different, yet stunning destinations. We spend most of the safari diving some of the five idyllic islands in the Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park (TARP) - Gaya, Sapi, Sulug, Mamutik and Manukan where we have identified over 20 beautiful coral reef dive sites. We also visit two longer range dive destinations – the unexplored beauty of Pulau Tiga and, weather permitting, the Usukan Bay wrecks to dive one of the three amazing, large World War II Japanese wrecks. Expect to find a range of amazing coral reef dives ranging from 5m – 20m. They are home to numerous soft coral and hard coral species including barrel sponges, table coral, lettuce coral and more. Explore the reefs and find Lion Fish, Glass Fish, Bat Fish, Fusiliers, Yellow Snappers, Anemone Fish, Moray Eels, Scorpion Fish, Sea Cucumbers, Turtles, young sharks, a variety of stunning Nudibranches and more. The Usukan wreck dives are a different diving world altogether – the sheer scale, depth, amazing coral formations and range of marine life will take your breath away. We have a range of safety equipment on board our boat and apply the highest safety standards to ensure your diving day trip is incident free. Your Hotel You can choose to stay at either the budget hotel, Hotel Garden, the boutique 4* Jesselton Hotel or the 5* Pacific Sutera Resort Hotel - all centrally located so you can enjoy the sights of Kota Kinabalu when you are not diving. Your accommodation includes breakfast but no evening meals - there are a lot of great places to eat to suit all tastes and budgets so please ask your Borneo Dream representative if you need any help choosing where to have dinner. What is Included This safari package includes virtually everything you need for an enjoyable diving holiday: Airport transfers to and from the Kota Kinabalu International Airport Terminals 1 or 2. Hotel accommodation is based on two people sharing a standard room and includes breakfast, remember to allow plenty of time as our pickups are prompt. Lunch is included on all dive days and is picnic style served onboard our boat. Unlimited fresh drinking water onboard. Three 80 CuFt. (11.25 Litre) Aluminium cylinders with DIN/INT valves filled to 200 Bar with Air (21% Oxygen) and weights are included on each diving day. Apart from the day we dive Usukan Bay Wrecks then it will be only two cylinders. Jesselton Point Landing / Departure tax. Professionalism, entertainment and fun are also included at no extra charge! Please note that the following are not included in the price for this dive safari package: Evening meal is not included, however there are a wide variety of places to suit taste and budget. Sabah Parks Diving Permit at RM 50 per person per day for Non-Malaysians. Additional soft drinks during the diving trips. These can be purchased on board our boat, Borneo Dream 3. Nitrox or Enriched Air. This can be pre-ordered if required by those qualified to use it. Dive equipment hire. See below for more information. Diving Options You can also add on one, or more, of the following diving options to this safari. Just let us know when you send us your enquiry / booking request. Full equipment rental at RM50 per day. Single item equipment rental (for example mask and snorkel or buoyancy control device BCD etc.) at RM 15 per item per day. Use of Nitrox for part, or all, of your diving safari:- 1x Nitrox 32/EANx32 using a 80 CuFt. (11.25 Litre) Aluminium cylinder at RM 25 2x Nitrox 32 /EANx32 using a 80 CuFt. (11.25 Litre) Aluminium cylinder at RM 45 Requirements Please bring with you a water bottle, swim wear and sun block each day to get the most from this dive safari. As with all diving activities there is a certain amount of necessary paperwork to complete. However, you can choose to complete these before you come on your Borneo Dream holiday.
