Borneo Dream 3 - Our Spacious Catamaran

Borneo Dream 3 was our first scuba diving boat and she is the only 10m x 4m catamaran used for scuba diving day trips in Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park near Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

She is a custom designed spacious catamaran and has been with Borneo Dream from April 2008. Borneo Dream 3 has a range of modern facilities including a freshwater shower, cabin with double bed, on-board toilet and front sun deck for sunbathing. She also had new 2 x 200hp Yamaha engines installed in February 2011 - she can really move for a catamaran.

There is also a comprehensive range of safety equipment on board - 18 x personal buoyancy aids, 6 x Life Rings/Floats, full first aid kit, DAN Diver Emergency Oxygen Kit with 1000 Litres of Medical Oxygen onboard, VHF radio, GPS (Global Positioning System) and compass - so you can be assured of a safe trip.

Borneo Dream 3 can take up to 12 passengers (and 4 crew). We choose to have less than 12 divers onboard for our scuba diving trips and courses so our customers have a comfortable time, with plenty of space, diving from our catamaran.

For all our boats we insist on applying the highest safety standards so you can relax and focus on having a fun day out:

• All crew members are First Aid Trained
• All Skippers are RYA Certified and have Commercial Endorsements from the MCA for 12m long vessels up to 200 Tonnes with 12 paying guests 20 Nautical Miles offshore/safe haven.
• Our boat is fully insured and all crew have personal liability insurance.
• All boats are fully licensed - boat licenses, Sabah Parks Landing Permit
