Daniel Broadhurst - PADI Instructor & Boat Comedian

Dan, as he is known, is originally from Australia. Dan has lived in Kota Kinabalu for a few years with his wife, Tina (who is originally from KK). Prior to this he lived and worked in Australia (spending time in the hotel industry).

Dan has been a PADI Instructor (PADI OWSI 496648) for several years and has worked for a few Dive Operators before joining the Borneo Dream team. He is now our newest recruit and is enjoying instructing from our very nice boats - the nicest dive boats in Kota Kinabalu - and being able to chill out with our customers on our catamaran in comfort during surface intervals.

Dan is a natural comedian and often has the team, and customers, in laughter. He also has a natural ability to speak in different accents - test him. He is also known for chatting with our customers - a lot ;).

For the first time, with Borneo Dream, Dan got to go diving at Pulau Tiga, Mantanani, the Usukan Wrecks and Mayne Rock. He was blown away at how awesome the diving was and all within a 1 hour transfer from Kota Kinabalu on our speedy RIB.
